F\u00fcr Otto Systems ist die Pr\u00e4senz an dieser Leitmesse zwar selbstverst\u00e4ndlich, doch der Aufwand f\u00fcr den Aufbau und Betrieb kompletter Produktionssysteme w\u00e4hrend der f\u00fcnft\u00e4gigen Messe steht oft in keinem optimalen Verh\u00e4ltnis zum Nutzen. Die Systeme m\u00fcssen unter erschwerten Bedingungen betrieben werden, w\u00e4hrend Gespr\u00e4che im Messehallen-L\u00e4rm stattfinden und die Aufmerksamkeit der Besucher:innen zwischen Technik und Austausch geteilt ist.<\/p>\n<p>Otto Systems und die Basler Kreativagentur Yellow haben sich deshalb f\u00fcr einen innovativen Ansatz entschieden. Sie konzentrierten den Messeauftritt auf das Wesentliche: Beziehungspflege und Netzwerkausbau. Yellow entwickelte daf\u00fcr eine Airline-Metapher und gestaltete den Messestand als Flughafenterminal, an dem sich Menschen aus aller Welt treffen, austauschen und \u00fcber ihre n\u00e4chsten Ziele beraten konnten.<\/p>\n<p>Anstelle von Maschinen bot Otto Systems den Messebesucher:innen exklusive \u00abFl\u00fcge\u00bb zum Hauptsitz nach Uznach an. Dort konnten Interessierte im TechCenter die neue PET-Series unter realen Werksbedingungen erleben. Private Shuttles brachten die G\u00e4ste direkt von der Messe in die Schweiz und zur\u00fcck. Die vermeintlich weite Distanz schreckte das internationale Publikum nicht ab \u2013 die Resonanz \u00fcbertraf die Erwartungen deutlich.
